What is the history & purpose of the Auction?
For more than 100 years, St. Paul Catholic School has carried on traditions of excellence in academics, fellowship, faith formation and more. One of the most cherished traditions for over 30 years is that of the annual Auction. Just like our school and community, the Auction has evolved over the years. At times there were family preview nights; some years guests dressed with the theme; other years called for formal attire. What has not changed is that the Auction remains a fun evening with a serious purpose: to raise funds for scholarships, to further friendships and to celebrate the excellence of our school - past, present and future.

Overview
On Friday, May 12, 2017, you can enter the world of James Bond at the 32nd St. Paul Catholic School Auction. The evening serves as a way to raise scholarship funds, further friendships and celebrate the Tradition of Excellence at St. Paul Catholic School. “Evidence of Excellence” will take place in the McKeown Gymnasium beginning with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 6:00 pm. A vast array of silent and oral items will be up for auction while guests enjoy a delicious meal and spend time catching up and celebrating the past, present and future of St. Paul Catholic School.

How can you get involved?
Be an Underwriter: Underwriting is critical to the success of this effort. With your generosity, costs related to the auction can be covered allowing every dollar raised the evening of the auction to go directly to student scholarships. No donation is too small, as every little bit helps to cover costs. All underwriters will be recognized in the auction catalog and on signage at the event. New this year are specific underwriting opportunities. These opportunities are detailed below.

Underwriter Opportunities
Underwriting is critical to the efforts of the auction.
All underwriters’ names will appear on the auction page of the school website and
included in signage at the event and in the printed catalog.All underwriter opportunities are first come, first serve.CATALOG $700
More than 200 supporters will receive the auction catalog in advance and at the event. The underwriter of this valuable piece to the auction will be recognized on the inside cover.
DINING TABLE $600
Here’s your chance to reserve your table early! Each table underwriter will have their name displayed on their table at the event and have the opportunity to fill the 8 seats at that table.
(Note: A confirmation of guests to be seated at that table
must be made by April 28, 2017.)SILENT AUCTION BOOTHS $500
These booths are sure to draw crowds as
they are filled with items up for bid on the silent portion of the auction. The silent
booth will be named for you with a sign
that includes your name and/or logo.
BEVERAGE COUPON $400
Drinks on me! Every attendee will receive a complimentary drink coupon with your name and/or logo.

SOLD! This underwriter will have their name printed on the paddle each bidder receives. Imagne your name raised high in the air all throughout the night!

As the underwriter your name will appear on
the big screen as a scroll of photos and
videos play throughout the evening.
CLASS PROJECTS $200
Each class at the school makes an item for the oral auction. A sign recognizing who made these popular items possible will be displayed by each item at the event.
BLUE & GOLD CLUB
Every dollar donated benefits St. Paul Catholic School students. Join the Blue and Gold Club and help cover miscellaneous event costs. This is for all underwriters
who wish to make a monetary contribution to assist with the event. Recognition will be displayed throughout the event and in the catalog. All amounts are welcome.
We can accommodate any budget as underwriting is critical to the efforts of the auction. -
Enter the Raffle: A maximum of 250 raffle tickets will be sold at $100 each. Each ticket is entered into a drawing that is held the evening of the auction. First place wins $10,000; second place $1,000; third place $500; and fourth place $250. To purchase a ticket, you may return the form below along with a payment of $100 for each ticket. Raffle tickets are payable by cash or check only. Raffle winner need not be present to win.
Donate Items: Enticing auction items such as vacation getaways, use of a rental home, unique experiences or tempting treats for adults, children and families are needed. A wish list of items for the silent and oral auctions may be found below. Why not go together with friends to donate a one-of-a-kind auction item? If you are willing to donate, please complete the Donation Form by April 21, 2017.
Attend the Auction: Talk with your classmates and make plans to return to your alma mater for an evening of fun together while supporting current and future students. Make it an evening out with friends! Tickets are $50 per person which includes appetizers, dinner, wine and $25 in scrip that may be used in the oral auction. Reservations are due no later than April 28, 2017. Note that auction guests must be over 21 years of age.
